SOUTHBRIDGE: Madeline Zavala Pabon, 71, of Henry St. died Saturday, November 12, in UMASS Medical Center.
She leaves her longtime companion of 40 years, Abdon Melendez, her son Abdon Melendez of Southridge her daughter Nelly Melendez of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, her grandchildren Jaidyn Grace Melendez, Shalom Marie Villanueva, Natyarie Villanueva.
She was predeceased by her parents Flor Zavala and Ana Pabon, and 2 brothers Pedro Zavala, Flor Zavala.
Madeline worked for Dexter-Russell over 20 years where she was a dedicated worker.
She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. Madeline was a member of St. John Paul II Parishes. She belonged to the John 23rd movement.
Her Funeral is Wednesday, November 16th from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St, Southbridge followed with a Mass at 11AM in St. Mary’s Church, 263 Hamilton St. of the St John Paul II Parishes.
