Angela "Butta" Andrews

WORCESTER - Angela "Butta" Andrews, 62, of Worcester, passed away on September 30 at UMASS University Campus after an illness.

She is survived by her children, Demario Andrews of Pennsylvania, Ashley Andrews and Eliena Sanchez of Worcester, Shamica, Cortez, Elisa and George, along with her three brothers, Chris Andrews of St. Louis, Baron Andrews of Worcester, and Terrell Andrews of Southbridge. Angela cherished her role as a grandmother to Sevn, Jahbari, Kiara, Sylvia, Deandre, Jaylon, Elijah, Nevaeh, George Jr., Gandre, Jason, Johnathan, Elysa, Tatiana and Taliyah and was surrounded by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, Herman and Josephine (Rogers) Andrews, and her son, Darron Andrews, Angela’s life was marked by her dedication to her family and community. She worked in retail and childcare, including her time at Adams Street Head Start.

Angela found joy in cooking, baking, scrapbooking, and cherished her TV shows like "Big Brother" and "Top Chef."

She knew who her Heavenly Father was, and her faith was a guiding force in her life.

Angela was truly one of a kind; she would give you the shirt off her back without even thinking twice. A mother figure to all, a giver, provider, an angel on earth and she has now gained her wings.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Angela on November 14, 2026, at the Knights of Columbus in Leicester, Mass during the hours of 1-4. Arrangements are being managed by Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, Southbridge.
