Richard "Rick" Allen Coy

Richard "Rick" Coy, 48, of Sturbridge, passed away on Sunday, September 6, at UMass due to complications from an infection.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Jodilee (Nicolo) Coy, 2 sons Kiyle MacKenzie of Fiskdale and Damien Hryzan of Southbridge, and 4 daughters Marissa Coy and Cearamarie Coy of Dudley, and Laylajade Lavalle of Fiskdale Ariana Payne of Southbridge. He also leaves behind his mother, Darlene Lavallee of Worcester; his brothers Francis Coy of North Carolina, Daniel Coy of Connecticut, and Adam Lavallee of Worcester; as well as seven cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Aubreyella, Emma, Raylani, Avah, Elliajean, Annie, his and Godmother Debra Ducharme of Worcester.

 Rick was predeceased by his by a son Matthew Coy and stepfather, Lloyd Lavalle.

Born in Worcester, Rick graduated from Worcester Vocational High School in 1998.

He was a dedicated employee of Thousand Trails Resort in Sturbridge for the past seven years.

Known for his skills as a mechanic, he had a passion for working on antique and muscle cars. Rick enjoyed spending time landscaping, fishing, and appreciating the beauty of the Thousand Trails Resort. He especially enjoyed spending time with his tribe.

Rick was known for his generosity and was always willing to help others, going out of his way to assist anyone in need.

His funeral will be held at 11AM, Saturday, September 26, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA.

A celebration of life will be held at 1PM at Thousand Trails Campground, 19 Mashapaug Road, Sturbridge, MA.
