Zoraida Lopez

SOUTHBRIDGE: Zoraida (Cortes) Lopez, 51, of Southbridge passed away January 11, 2021, at Brookside Health Care Center after battling Covid-19. She is predeceased by her husband of 28 years Wilfredo Lopez who died July 15, 2019. She leaves her son Wilfredo Lopez Jr. of Southbridge, and her daughter Kayla Lopez of Southbridge. Zoraida was born in Riopiedras, Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of the late Jose Cortes and Gloria (Crespo) of Puerto Rico. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed her family. She enjoyed watching the Price is Right. She retired as an inspector from Dexter and previously worked for the American Optical. Zoraida’s funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am Friday January 15^th, in Notre Dame Church, part of the St. John Paul Parishes, 446 Main St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
