Yvonne Bauman

August 19, 1947 — March 12, 2020

BRIMFIELD: Yvonne Mary (Fitzback) Bauman, 72, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Webster, MA, daughter of Victoria and Leo J. Fitzback. She graduated from Bartlett High School and was employed as a postal worker for over 25 years at the Post Office in Fiskdale MA. Yvonne was a lovely, tender- hearted woman who brought grace and beauty to everything she touched. She loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren. She leaves her son, Daniel Bauman and her daughter Jennifer Porter, six grandchildren; Jordan and Jayce Porter, Shelby, Riley, and Justin Bauman and Victoria Stendrup, her three brothers, Theodore Wood and his wife Prudy, Leo J. Fitzback and his wife Michelle, and Kenneth Groh. She will be especially missed by her nephews John and Michael Fitzback who shared a special bond with her, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew Yvonne liked her and she will be missed by many, but none more than her dear friend, traveling companion and “sister”, Carol Staniford. Her daughter, Melissa St. Martin and her husband, Wilfred L. Bauman, predecease her. A private service was held for the immediate family.
