William Presutti

William Presutti passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the age of 87. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Nancy (Horan) Presutti originally of Webster, MA, a son Mark Presutti of West Boylston, a daughter Nancy Presutti Emo and her husband Michael of Wells, Maine, a grandson Jamie Presutti of West Boylston, a brother Anthony DiGregorio and his wife Betty of Southbridge along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brothers; Frank DiGregorio and Albert Presutti and sisters; Mary LaChapelle, Lena Delmore, Ellen Vigilante and Esther Coffey all predeceased him.

Bill was born in Southbridge the son of the late Paul and Teresa (DiPietro) Presutti where he graduated Mary E. Wells High School in 1945. Mr. Presutti served in the US Navy during WWII, the Korean Conflict and his name is listed on the Veteran's Wall in Southbridge. In 1957 he began working as a meter reader for the Massachusetts Electric Company, where he met his wife Nancy, and worked his way up to a Field Representative until his retirement in 1987.

A very athletic man all his life, Bill was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He also loved gardening and was a great cook. He loved being at home because there was always activity with family and friends visiting.
