STURBRIDGE: Walter G. Figelski, 94, of Poplar Ave, Sturbridge, died July 6, in Southbridge Rehab & Healthcare. His wife Betty (Marshall) Figelski died 1989. He leaves 3 sons Walter and his wife Jan, Paul and his wife Betty, Glenn and his wife Janet, 3 daughters Linda Johnson, Dale and her husband Danny Valley, Darlene and her husband John D’Antuono, brothers Stanley Figelski, Frank Figelski and a sister Tillie Tomczkowski, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was born in Chelsea, Ma the son of Victor and Stella (Bednarick) Figelski.
He was a WII Army veteran. He retired from the Revere Sugar Co. after many years of service.
He was a history buff and enjoyed a FULL cup of hot coffee or tea.
A private graveside with Military Honors was held in Holy Cross cemetery in Malden.
