SOUTHBRIDGE: Victor Samuel “Coco” Lopez, 33, passed away on Wednesday October 21,2020 at Harrington Healthcare of Webster, MA.
He is survived by his 2 children, a son Yadier Lopez of Southbridge; and a daughter Ariannalys Lopez of Southbridge. Two sisters Mariselle Gomez of Meriden, CT; and Griselle Alsina of Southbridge. And his longtime girlfriend Yvonne Torres of Southbridge.
Victor was born in Southbridge MA, the son of Victor Lopez and Maria Rodriguez of Orocovis, Puerto Rico.
He worked at Mace Polymers & Additives Inc. in Dudley, MA.
Victor’s children were his life. He always would have a smile on his face and liked to joke around with others. He had a heart of gold and would always be there to help anyone in need.
Victor was a big sports fan who enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Celtics and the Patriots. His love for sports carried on throughout his life.
When he was younger, he played little league and always had a love for the game. Victor played softball on the Henry Street Park League in Southbridge, and enjoyed being with his teammates. Victor was an avid boxer and a member at Uptown Gym in Southbridge. He won the Silver Glove Massachusetts State Champion trophy for boxing. Victor had a passion for rotary engine cars, enjoyed going to the race track, racing cars and he enjoyed working and rebuilding engines on cars. Calling hours will be held on Sunday November 1,2020 from 4PM-8PM at Iglesias A. Monroe Pentecostal Church, 293 Main St., Southbridge. Funeral service will be held Monday November 2, 2020 at 10AM at the church. With a burial at Oakridge Cemetery in Southbridge to follow.
