STURBRIDGE: Stanley Kaitbenski, 86, of Warren RD. died Sunday, Feb. 10, at Overlook Masonic Healthcare after a short illness. He leaves his wife of 21 years Josephine (Bonneau) Kaitbenski; 2 sons David Kaitbenski of Sturbridge; Brian and his wife Donna Kaitbenski of Brimfield; 2 daughters Natalie Kaitbenski of Sturbridge; Susan Murphy of Sturbridge 2 step sons Darren and his wife Michelle Bonneau of Warren; Jason Bonneau of West Brookfield; grandchildren Jacob and wife Amy; Bart; Marlie; Karri; Chase; Taryn and her husband Tom; Layne; Mckenna; step grandchildren Mathew Bonneau; Katlyn Bonneau; 3 great grandchildren Brooke; Kyra; Rowan, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife Helen (Boniface) Kaitbenski in 1989. He was also predeceased by 3 brothers Frank Kaitbenski, Eddie Kaitbenski, Fred Kaitbenski, 2 sisters Helen Dionne, Bertha Kaitbenski and his son-in-law William Murphy who died in 1997. He was born in Putnam Ct, the son of Frank and Mary (Sternala) Kaitbenski and lived in the area most of his life. He attended Mary E. Wells High School. Stanley joined the Navy when he was 17, and proudly served on the USS Bennington during WWII. He owned and operated Stan Kaitbenski Construction Co. for over 60 years. He enjoyed working in his yard and hunting. His funeral will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Anne’s St. Patrick’s Church, 16 Church St. Off of RT. 20, in the Fiskdale section of Sturbridge. Burial with full Military Honors will be at St. Anne’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
