Sandra Bastien

STURBRIDGE: Sandra L. (Vickers) Bastien, 76, of Arnold Rd. died Sept. 24, at UMASS . Her husband Robert Bastien died Aug. 17, 1999.

She leaves 2 sons Paul Bastien of Thorndike, Brian Bastien of Sturbridge, 3 daughters Linda Chaffee of Sturbridge, Kim Carnelli of Coventry, CT., Lori Bastien of Brimfield, 2 sisters Marilyn Wassmer of Sturbridge and Gail Boucher of Sturbridge, 4 grandchildren Krystal Normandin, Micheala Bastien, Kaitlynn Normandin and Gregson Chaffee, 4 great grandchildren Jared, Carter, Jada and Adrianna, nephews and nieces.

Sandra was born in Southbridge the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Leiveille) Vickers and lived in the area all her life.

She was proud of her Native American ancestry and was a member of the Nipmuc Tribe.

She enjoyed trips to the casino, motorcycle riding and fishing. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. She will be missed.

 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, Oct. 6, in North Cemetery, Maple St. Sturbridge.

Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements.
