Samuel Palumbo

SPENCER: Samuel Palumbo, aged 73, of Howe Road, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2025, at his home.

Samuel is survived by his two brothers, Michael and his wife Elaine Palumbo of Sturbridge, Timothy and his wife Rosanne Palumbo of Oxford; his sister-in-law Sandi Palumbo; along with several nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.

Samuel was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Maddelena (Stelluti) Palumbo, his brother Pasquale Palumbo and his sister Lucretia Palumbo.

Born in Monte Sant’Angelo, Italy, Samuel graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade. During his early career he was employed at Morgan Construction for ten years. Samuel later went on to become a self-employed carpenter, and eventually retiring.

Known for his quiet demeanor, Samuel was close to his brothers whom he enjoyed spending his time with. He had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains, camping in the wilderness, and fishing at Westfield Dam.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 2nd at 11:00am at Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St. Worcester.

Arrangements are being handled by Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, located at 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge.
