Ronald Paul Bertrand

HOLLAND: Ronald P. “Rascal” Bertrand, age 60, of Sturbridge Road, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2025, after valiantly battling cancer.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Debra (Burke) Bertrand; their two sons, Steven and Jake Bertrand, both of Holland; his mother, Irene (Pare) Bertrand of Holland and her partner, Louis Parrettie, and a sister, Michelle Bertrand Kruegar of Yarmouth, Maine. He is also cherished by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Born in Southbridge, Ronald was the son of the late Ronald Bertrand and spent his life in the local area. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational High School in 1982 and went on to work at Fleet Electrical in Auburn as well as Tantasqua Regional High School Department.

A true motorcycle enthusiast, Ronald enjoyed not only riding but also participating in competitions, earning many trophies for his skills. His passion for racing and repairing motorcycles led him to build an impressive collection of vintage bikes over the years. Ronald’s spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
