STURBRIDGE: Ronald G. Graveline, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, at UMASS University Campus at the age of 79. He was surrounded by his loving family as he peacefully departed from this world due to injuries sustained on December 29, 2023.
 
 He is survived by his devoted wife of 9 years, Renee (McCloskey) Graveline, his son Kevin Graveline and daughter-in-law Sally of Nashua NH as well as his daughters Karin Burlingame and her husband Lee of Charlton, MA and Kristine Thomas and her husband Dylan of Londonderry NH.  Ronald also leaves behind a legacy through his five cherished grandchildren: Emily Simons, Cheryl Maykel, Kayla Thomas, Sydnie Connors, and Abbie Thomas, along with 10 great-grandchildren. Additionally, he is remembered by his former wife Marge Lewis of Hudson, NH.


 Born in Southbridge to the late Homer A. Graveline and Yvonne C. Donais Graveline , Ronald lived all his life in the same area where he was raised. He was widely recognized in the community for his work as a bartender at establishments such as Bootlegger’s,Tarragon’s, Enrico’s, Frenchys,  and the Ugly Duckling. Furthermore, Ronald was the proud owner and operator of American Inventory Specialists.
 
 A faithful member of the Charlton City United Methodist Church, Ronald found solace in his faith and community connections. His passion for sports was evident to all who knew him; he particularly enjoyed playing golf and even achieved remarkable feats such as holding the course record at Hemlock Golf Course in Sturbridge, MA and winning the 1972 championship at Cohasse Country Club.
 

Together with Renee, Ronald embarked on exciting travels that brought them to various destinations across the United States including beaches in Florida and picturesque locations like Portland, Maine, Newport RI, & Portsmouth NH creating memories that will be forever treasured.


 In remembrance of a life well-lived and a man deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace as his spirit lives on through the legacy of love and memories he leaves behind.

 

A Memorial Service honoring Ronald's life will be conducted on Friday, April 5th at 1 PM at Charlton City United Methodist Church at 74 Stafford Street, Charlton MA. Those who wish to share their condolences or memories are invited to visit the online guestbook at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
