�STURBRIDGE: Robert P. Northup, 92, of Christopher Heights, Webster, formerly of Park Circle Sturbridge, died Sunday, Aug. 2, at Hubbard Hospital after being stricken ill at home .
He was predeceased wife Iola (Francazi) Northup in 2009 and by a son Dean in 2012.
He leaves 2 sons, Brent Northup and his wife Kristine of Monson, Tracy Northup and his wife Sally of Norwood, Ma, a daughter, Wendy Sivula of Brookfield, a brother Frank Northup of Remsen, NY, a sister Ruth Barnard of Woodstock, GA., 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Robert was born in Southbridge, the son of Herbert ad Cordelia (Dartt) Northup, and lived in the area all his life.
He retired from Old Sturbridge Village where he worked in the maintaince and construction department for 15 years. He previously was a milk distributor for H.R. Parker and Sealtest.
Bob was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed woodworking.
His funeral will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, August 6, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Sturbridge.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, August 5, from 5:00 to 8:00PM.
