SPENCER – Robert C. Monahan, 56, of High St., died Sunday, October 31, in his home after an illness.  He leaves a sister, Carol Young, of Honolulu, HI, a brother William Monahan of Framingham, his friend and care taker, Jodie Timons and many other friends.

He was born in Worcester, the son of the late William and Theresa (Clifford) Monahan.  He served as a Rifle Sharpshooter in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a Reservist until 1982.  He was self-employed as a painter and contractor.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, November 5, at the Agawam National Veterans Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.  The Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., is directing arrangements.  An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com.
