Rita Yurgilas

SOUTHBRIDGE ââ?¬â?? Rita (Lacasse) Yurgilas, 88, died in Harrington Memorial Hospital on December 10.  Her husband, Vincent Yurgilas, died in July of 2009.  She leaves her daughter, Kathleen Grenier, and her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Cheyenne, all of Southbridge; her beloved niece, Joanne Ayers, and her husband, Ken, and their children, of Charlotte, NC; and many other nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.

She was born in Southbridge, the daughter of the late Solomon and Rose (Couture) Lacasse.  She lived in the area her entire life.  She was employed by the American Optical Co.  She was a member of the Harrington Auxiliary and St. Rita's Society.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and especially her only granddaughter, Cheyenne. 

Her funeral will be 10:00am, Saturday, December 19, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge.  A calling hour will be held from 9:00 ââ?¬â?? 10:00am before the service.  Burial will immediately follow the service in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Woodstock Rd., Southbridge.  Memorial contributions may be made to Radius Healthcare Center in Southbridge, Radius Activities, 84 Chapin St., Southbridge, MA 01550.  An online guestbook and video tribute will be available online at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com.
