Richard Waugh

BRIMFIELD: Richard James Waugh, 74, of East Brimfield Holland Road, died April 12, at Southbridge Healthcare. He leaves his wife of 30 years Nancy (MacDonald) Waugh, a daughter Emily Christine Waugh and her fiancé Daniel Thompson of Sturbridge, a sister Ellen Costa of Plaistow, NH. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Jack Waugh, Edward Waugh, and a sister Barbara Guilotti. He was born in Revere the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Lynam) Waugh and lived in the area for 27 years. Graduated from Dom Savio High School, East Boston. Richard was a self-employed pharmaceutical drug Bio-Hazzard technician, covering all of New England. He owned several race horses that raced in Foxboro and Saratoga Springs. Throughout the years he enjoyed helping Emily with her school projects and also enjoyed doing yardwork at home. He was an avid Boston sports fan. His funeral will be Wednesday, April, 17 in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 446 Hamilton St. Southbridge. Calling hours are 4 – 7PM, Tuesday, April 16, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
