Randy A. Melendez Jr.

 

Randy A. Melendez Jr., aged 19, of Charlton Street, passed away on Saturday, October 28. He is survived by his loving parents, Randy Melendez and Jacqueline Rojas, his stepmother Sashira Belfort, as well as his siblings Jovani Isish, Johannys Melendez, Jaziah Irish, Abigail Melendez, Xzavier Maldonado, and Elias Rojas, all of Southbridge. Randy is also mourned by his paternal grandparent Enid Rubero of Puerto Rico, Alex Colon of Southbridge, and great-grandmother Elba Pena of Puerto Rico, on his mother's side, he leaves behind maternal grandparents Lydia Rojas of Springfield and Armando Rodriguez of Southbridge, as well as maternal great-grandparent Digna Morales of Southbridge. Additionally, Randy had a cherished best friends Nickelias Aponte and Anthony Rivera.

Randy was a recent graduate of Southbridge High School from the Class of 2023. During his time there, he excelled in football and represented his school on the field with dedication.

Known for his affectionate nature and strong sense of camaraderie, Randy found great joy in spending time with both his family and friends. Among his many interests, playing video games held a special place in his heart.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM on Friday, November 3rd at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home located at 51 Marcy St., Southbridge. Following the service, Randy will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery on Charlton Street in Southbridge.

Calling hours have been scheduled from 5 to 8PM on Thursday, November 2nd at the funeral home.
