Randall \"Randy\" Benoit

SOUTHBRIDGE: Randall C. Benoit, 59, of Southbridge, passed away on January 11,2022, at Harrington Hospital.

Randy had been supported by Venture Residential and Dayhab for many years. He lived at Cross St, 85 Highland St, and most recently as of this past September, Crawford B.

Randall leaves his sister Lynn O’Toole of Southbridge and her husband James; his uncle Danny Vincent and aunt Loretta Vincent; nephews Ben Heisler and Ryan O’Toole, and his great niece and nephew Jonah and Adalynn. Many beloved cousins and precious friends, and Randy’s angels Brenda, Jessy, Hope, Mel, Sharron and Lori.

Randall was predeceased by his parents Norbert Benoit Jr., and Patricia (Clark) Benoit.

Randy had the nickname King Pin and loved bowling with the “big balls”. He had many bowling trophies. He loved John Wayne, Bozo, Mr. Rogers, Cher and Pat Boone. He loved trains, and flirting with the ladies. He was kind and had close friendships with his roommates, and was the best dishwasher ever.

Randy loved life and the people in his life. His family always was his highest priority.  If you met Randy, you never forgot the way he made you feel welcome. Randy was frequently in the community and would tell strangers “Hello” and ask how they were doing.  He didn’t just say “Hello”, he said it with the warmest smile and a friendly handshake. This would usually make the stranger feel welcome and start a conversation. Randy would always say “I love you! in his farewell, and usually got a big smile and an “I love you too!” from his new friend. 

Randy had love in his heart for everyone. He didn’t judge, he just wanted everyone to feel the joy of friendship. Randy was unforgettable to anyone who knew him.
