SOUTHBRIDGE: Paul Champagne 70, of Village Dr. died March 21, at Harrington Hospital. He leaves his wife of 49 years Jacqueline (Gendron) Champagne, a son Joseph Champagne of Leicester a daughter Jennifer StLaurent of Southbridge a brother Robert Champagne of Tolland, CT. 2 grandchildren. He graduated from Marion Hill High School in 1961. He was a member of St. Mary’s parish. Paul retired from United Lens Co. After his retirement he worked for the Big Y Supermarket in Southbridge. He was an avid Boston sport s fan, he played and coached softball. At one time he coached the St. Mary’s basketball team. A private graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, April 23,in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Southbridge. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements.
