SOUTHBRIDGE: Patricia Ann “Pat” Shaw (Latour) was called home unexpectedly yet peacefully on July 10th, 2020 in Columbus, Georgia at the age of 73.
Pat is survived by her sister Yvette Martel of Sturbridge, Massachusetts; her children Michael Thibodeau of Southbridge, Massachusetts; Richard Thibodeau and wife Sarah of Columbus, Georgia; Howard Hasting of Phoenix, Arizona; Chantel Limoges and husband David of Columbus, Georgia; Guy Hasting and wife Jennifer of Saco, Maine; Andrea Hasting of Columbus, Georgia; Russell Hasting and wife Renee of Sangerville, Maine; her grandchildren; Richard Jr, Austin, Jason, Kayla, Courtney, Zachary, Stephen, Jessica, Matthew, Alexis, Elijah, and Bryson; her 5 great grandchildren; her nieces and nephews Donna, David, Tina, Todd, and Brian; and an abundance of great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Marie Latour of Southbridge, Massachusetts; her brother Richard Richer of Dudley, Massachusetts; and husband Harry Shaw of Southbridge, Massachusetts.
Pat was born on Feb 24th, 1947 in Southbridge, Massachusetts to Russell and Marie Latour. She graduated from Southbridge High School in 1965. She attended Dudley Hall and achieved an associate degree in business. She married Harry Shaw on February 14th, 1988. She worked at Harrington Memorial Hospital as a sterile processing technician. Pat loved her family greatly. She spent hours reading her bible and praying every day.
Calling hours are Friday, July 17, from 4 to 6PM in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
Her funeral will be at 10AM, Saturday, July 18th, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Michael Rondeau will officiate her funeral ceremony.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pat’s life. Social distancing and mask are required to protect everyone.
