SOUTHBRIDGE – Noble M. Fitts, 91, of 14 Coolidge Ave., died Sunday
February 15, 2009 at UMASS Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. His wife, Eleanor (Murphy) Fitts predeceased him. He leaves two daughters, Judith Borsari, and her husband, Leonard, of Wilbraham, and Geralyn Sinni, and her husband, John, of Southbridge; a sister, Esther Krueger, of Charlton; three grandchildren, Leigh Sinni, of Seattle, WA, Mark Borsari, of East Grandby, CT, and Brian Borsari, of Providence, RI; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha, and Laila.
He was born on Dec. 11, 1917, in Charlton, the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Hurd) Fitts. He grew up in Charlton, and was a graduate of Charlton High School. He was employed by Hyde Manufacturing in Southbridge for 35 years, retiring in 1982. Mr. Fitts was a member of the Quinnebaug Masonic Lodge and and Central Baptist Church.
His funeral will be held at 11am, Friday, February 20, at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA. A calling hour will take place from 10am to 11am, before the funeral service. Burial will be in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton, MA. An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com.
