Michelle Linde

GRANTS PASS, OREGON – Michelle (Morin) Linde, 51, of Grants Pass, OR, and formerly of Southbridge, died suddenly on Tuesday, October 26.  Her husband of 13 years, Rexford “Rex” Linde, died on October 23, 2009.  She leaves her parents, Frederick and Jeannine Morin, of Southbridge; a daughter Cristina Goizueta, of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Lisa A. Benson, her husband Steve and her brother, Eric Morin, and his wife, Jayne, all of Southbridge; a step-daughter, Sylvia Linde-Sharp, and a step-granddaughter, Kayla Sharp, of CA; two nephews, Mathieu and Zachary Morin, both of Southbridge.

Michelle was born in Southbridge, and grew up in the area.  She graduated from Marian Hill High School in 1977, and continued her education at Marquette University in Wisconsin, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.  She worked as a physical therapist at the Providence House Hospital in Medford, OR.  She was currently planning to travel to Jamaica on a medical mission. 

Michelle and her husband, Rex, were race car enthusiasts and enjoyed competing in Formula V Racing events together.  She was also involved in the Corvette Club in Grants Pass.  She was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Angels.  She was a member of St. Anne's Church in Grants Pass, OR, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lecturer.

A funeral Mass for Michelle will be held at 10am, Friday, November 19, in the Chapel of Notre Dame Church, Main St. Southbridge.  Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton.
