Michael Cosby

March 13, 1953 — September 23, 2021

STURBRIDGE: Michael A. Cosby, 68, passed away on September 23, 2021, surrounded by his family. Michael was born in Springfield MA, where he lived until 1965, when the family moved to “The Cosby Farm” in Warren MA. Mike was predeceased by his parents Arthur & Joan (Keeney) Cosby. He leaves behind two brothers, Robert of Lawrence, MA and Arthur “Skip” of Palmer, MA; his sister-in-law Brenda, of West Brookfield, MA; Two nephews, Ryan of West Brookfield MA and his two children Grace & Henry and their mother Tina. Chad and his wife Stephanie of Auburn, AL and their 4 children, Connor, Noah, Tyler and Ella. Mike also leaves several step siblings, and some very close friends. Mike attended Tantasqua for drafting, and graduated in 1970. Mike is a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force, he was stationed in Thailand, and was an Aerospace Engineer. Mike also worked at Flexcon as a machinist for 28 years and owned his own sawmill. Most of all Mike loved playing rock & roll, he played in several bands in his youth. Playing guitar, accompanied by his best friend Jeff Wadsworth, his brother Bob on the drums, and step brother Bruce playing the harmonica. Services for Michael will be held on Friday October 8^th at 10:00AM at the Winchendon Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St. Winchendon, MA 01475.
