Warner Robins, Georgia/ Southbridge: Merrily Mason-Mondor, 64, formally of Southbridge, passed away on September 4, 2022, in Warner Robins, GA.
She leaves behind her companion Edward Leadbetter, her son Brian Mondor of Webster, a brother Daniel Mason of Brimfield, her 2 sisters Josephine Hazzard of Southbridge, Debra Chapman of Worcester, 5 grandchildren Richard LaFleche, Joseph Maxwell, James Maxwell, Andrew Strozina, Ryan Lyness, several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Merrily was born in Springfield, daughter to the late Adolph and Kathryn Mason. She was predeceased by her daughter Sunday Maxwell, and her 2 brothers Albert Mason and Eric Mason.
Merrily worked as a bus driver in Southbridge and at Umass as a billing coder. She was a collector and loved to collect anything that was Scooby Doo memorabilia.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday September 21st from 10-1PM in the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Followed by a celebration of life at 1PM at La Salle Reception Center, 444 Main St, Southbridge.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Donate to Cancer Immunotherapy Research - Cancer Research Institute - Cancer Research Institute) or St. Jude's (Donate now to St. Jude and help kids fighting cancer - St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Merrily's name.
