Mary DiBonaventura

SOUTHBRIDGE:  Mary C. (Masi) Di Bonaventura, 71, passed away Wednesday November 23, 2011 after an illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John Di Bonaventura, her brother Anthony Masi of Cranston, Rhode Island, her sister Lucy Masi of North
Attleboro, Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Providence, Rhode Island on December 8, 1939 to Angelo and Ersilia Di Bonaventura. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School before working as a secretary for the City of Providence School District for 25 years. She loved to play cards with friends and as an avid seamstress, Mary greatly enjoyed making her own clothes.   

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 29, at 11:00AM in St. Mary’s of Blessed John Paul II Church, 267 Hamilton St. Southbridge. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 220 Charlton Street, Southbridge.

Calling hours are 10:00AM to 11AM at The Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge, prior to Tuesday’s service.
