Luz was born the daughter of the late Clotilde Torres Benitez and Eligia Cintron in Comerio, PR.  She and many of her siblings moved to Southbridge over 40 years ago.  Luz raised her family here, enjoyed bargain shopping at thrift stores, collecting dolls, her morning coffee and playing Bingo.  Her favorite color was yellow, she loved butterflies and frogs but most of all she loved her family.  She would prepare delicious meals for everyone to enjoy, her favorite being Bacalao con Wanime.  She loved visits from her grandchildren, from making them pancakes, to giving them money to buy candy and letting them sleep over on weekends.  She was a Christian firm in her faith, believing always in God. One of her favorite tv shows to watch was her Novelas and she loved music and loved to dance.

Services will take place at a later date.
