Lucy Jure

NORTHBRIDGE: Lucy E. Jure, born April 6, 2019, died unexpectedly at Milford Hospital on August 27.

She will be remembered by her parents Dan Jure and Karolina Jakobkiewicz, maternal grandparents Beata and Jaroslaw Jakobkiewicz of Dudley, paternal grandparents Laurie Jure and George Makara of Dudley. She is preceded by her paternal grandfather Richard Jure. Lucy will also be remembered by her many aunts and uncles, Bartek Jakobkiewicz of Dudley, Tanya Jure of New Orleans, LA, Scarlett Acheampong and her husband Kwasi of Brimfield, Joslin and Abigail Makara of Dudley, as well as great grandparents Halina and Jerzy Kompinski of Poland, Roberta and Richard Jure of Douglas and great aunts, great uncles, cousins and many beloved family members in Poland.

Lucy was born prematurely in Worcester, MA weighing 3.59lbs. She fought hard and surpassed all her milestones growing to be a healthy, strong, smart little girl. She loved music, dancing and getting hugs from her cousins Leo and Kyrie. She knew many words already, her favorites being bird, hello, up, doggy, and clock. She loved spending time at her grandparent’s homes, splashing in the kiddie pools and playing on the slip n’ slide.

 

Calling hours are Tuesday, September 1, from 5-7pm at Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St, Uxbridge MA.

The church service will be held Wednesday, September 2 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Parish, 77 Mendon St, Uxbridge MA. (Please go straight to church)

Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
