Lucille M. Dunphy, 89, of Port St. Lucie Florida. Passed away peacefully October 10, 2017 at Good Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born on December 25, 1927 in Worcester Massachusetts to William and Rose Mary Mayville. She was a graduate of Newington High School. Married the love of her life John J Dunphy Sr. She along with her husband owned and operated Mister Softee of Southern New England for over 30 years. Lucille and her husband John had seven children. She leaves two sons John J Dunphy Jr of Bristol Connecticut. Timothy Dunphy of Farmington Connecticut. Four daughters Rosemarie Goulet of West Palm Beach, Florida, Laurie Flood of Avon Connecticut, Patricia Woodard of Palm Beach Gardens Florida, Mary Lucille Dunphy of Hobe Sound Florida. She is predeceased by her husband John J Dunphy Sr. and a son James Michael Dunphy and a great-granddaughter Alexzandra McCreath. She is Survive by 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Lucille enjoyed playing piano and singing her entire life. A private graveside service Will be held at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery Bloomfield Connecticut.
