Lowell F Nixon

HOLLAND: Lowell F. Nixon, formerly of Union Road, passed away March 4th, at UMASS-Memorial Medical Center University Campus.

His wife Olive (Mason) Nixon passed away in 2015. He leaves his daughter Lidia Mason of Dudley, a brother Robert and his wife Mary Nixon of Maine, a granddaughter Elicia Wright and a nephew Richard Nixon.

Lowell was born in Worcester, the son of Walter S. and Sarah (Knutsford) Nixon and lived in the area all his life.

Lowell’s life was spent running non-profit, which helped many people.

He enjoyed gardening, weightlifting, going to the Red Sox games and serving as a Deacon in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He had a great love for his dogs, which he had many throughout his life.

He was loved by all and will be very much missed.

His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, March 23, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.

A calling our will be held from 9:30 to 11AM before the service.

Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery.
