BROOKFIELD - Lorraine Peloquin, 88, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at Southbridge Rehibilitation & Health Care Center.
She is survived by her sisters, Anna Ward, Aldea Black, Adelard Peloquin, Theresa Wayne, and Claire Raulli; and her brother, Eugene Peloquin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life, Lorraine dedicated herself to her work as a packer for a distribution center, and she took great pride in being an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Brookfield. Her love for animals was evident, as she often took in any stray that wandered into her yard, embodying her compassionate spirit.
In addition to her caring nature, Lorraine had a passion for woodworking and a deep appreciation for music. She was particularly talented in playing the guitar and organ, which brought joy to her life and those around her. Lorraine was also well known for her creativity when decorating baked goods, specifically cakes.
Lorraine will be fondly remembered by all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love.
