SOUTHBIDGE:  Linda L. (Morris) Funcasta, 73, of Litchfield Ave, died Sunday, Feb. 13, at Harrington Memorial Hospital.

 She leaves her husband of 52 years, Joseph Funcasta; two daughters Amy Tufts and her husband Bill of East Falmouth; Beth Crocker and her husband Jim of East Falmouth; two sisters Melane Bertschy of Bath, Maine; Susan Perham and her husband David of West Palm Beach, FL; four grandchildren Brian, Daniel, Michael, Abigail, and four great grandchildren Savanna, Cornor and twins Emily and Edward.

 She was born in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of William and Marion (Ernst) Morris. She graduated from Dover High School in 1955,

Linda graduated from UMASS Amherst in 1959 where she majored Nutrition Science.

She worked for Norcross Wildlife Sanctuary in Wales for many years retiring in 2002.

 She was a member of Elm Street Congregational Church for 50 years. She also belonged to the church’s Women’s Fellowship and at one time taught Sunday School. She was also a past member of the Southbridge Garden Club.

 Her services will be private in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will be in Westfield.
