OXFORD: Lillian A. (Kardokas) Sinclair, 80, died Monday, October 17, at UMASS Medical Center. Her husband of 53 years, Clayton Sinclair Sr., died May 13, 2013.
She leaves her son William Sinclair and his wife Christine, of Charlton; 2 daughters: Ann Diamantis of Oxford, and Cheryl McIntyre and her husband Michael of Sutton; a brother Walter Kardokas of Belchertown; 2 sisters Marion Campbell of Spencer; Frances Everson of Spencer, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her son: Clayton Sinclair Jr., in 2013, a sister: Mildred Booth and a brother: Joseph Kardokas.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Anthony and Bernadine (Daignault) Kardokas and lived in the area all her life. She graduated from St. Casmir’s High School in Worcester.
Lillian retired from Clarke Manor Nursing Home and previously worked for Come play Products.
She was an avid Red Sox fan enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, crocheting, and playing cards.
Calling hours are Thursday, October 20, 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St, Southbridge. A prayer service will be held at 8:00PM in the funeral home.
Private burial will be at The Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, in Agawam.
