Leon Beausoleil

SOUTHBRIDGE: Leon L. Beausoleil Sr. 74, passed away on April 2,2021 after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 50 years, Barbara (Dembowski) Beausoleil, a daughter Laureen Neff of Southbridge, a sister Jane Wenninger and her husband Ronald of Texas, 4 grandchildren Brandon Beausoleil, Fintan Neff, Lyndon Neff, Gawain Neff and several nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Leon L. Beausoleil Jr in 2002.

Leon was born in Southbridge the son of the late Leon H. and Mary (Norowski) Beausoleil and lived in the area all his life and attended local schools.

He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Leon was a heavy equipment operator, worked for Casella for many years, prior to that, he worked for the Town of Southbridge DPW.

Leon’s passion was riding motorcycles, summers were spent riding with his good friend Ray. He also enjoyed deer hunting, the outdoors, weight lifting, but most of all he loved to be with his family. He could be seen always with a big smile and ready with a helping hand when needed. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at a later date.
