Justin Filo

WEBSTER: Justin “Jubb” Filo, 35, of Webster, passed away on August 30th, 2022.

Justin leaves behind his father Timothy Filo and his mother Christine Filo of Southbridge, and his brother, his best friend, Shayne Filo, his beloved niece and nephew, MacIntyre and Brayson Filo, who he loved like his own. He leaves, grandparents Paul Filo of Dudley, and Joan Morse of Quinebaug. Justin also leaves behind five aunts Diane Johnson of Thompson, Michelle Dupre of Worcester, Nanette Tetreault of Webster, Holly Desmarais of Woodstock, and Judy Quigley of N. Grosvenordale, four uncles, Randy Desmarais of Woodstock, Todd Filo of Thompson, James Johnson of Thompson and Jefferey Filo of N. Grosvenordale, and many close cousins, who will never forget his love and generosity.  

Justin was a graduate of Southbridge High school in 2005 where he played football and baseball and formed strong, lifelong friendships, that have sustained the years. He was a loyal friend and will be missed by everyone he touched.  Justin attended Johnson and Wales University and New England Tech and was currently employed as a Facilities Engineer at Charles River Laboratories.  

Justin was an avid golfer and played often with friends, but especially enjoyed beating his brother on the greens. He was also an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing his culinary skills with friends and family. He was a huge Miami Dolphins fan and stayed loyal to the end. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed traveling together.  Justin will always be remembered for his loyalty, his big personality that lit up a room like no one else could, and his big heart. He will forever be missed.  

Calling hours will be held on Saturday September 10th from 10AM-1PM at the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA 01550. A celebration of life will follow from 1:30- 4:30PM at Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center, 366 Main St. Sturbridge.
