Juan Lopez

SOUTHBRIDGE - Juan E. Lopez, 20, of Union St., died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010. He leaves his wife of 2 years, Raiza Rivera, and his son, Juan Y. Lopez, both at home; two brothers, Joel Lopez and Fabian Lopez, both of Southbridge; his grandmother, Carman Miranda, of Southbridge; aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Maria Miranda, who died in February 2009.

He was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the son of Juan and Maria Miranda, and lived in Southbridge many years.

Juan was a fork truck driver for Casella Co. in Auburn. He enjoyed playing baseball and boxing at Uptown Gym.

His funeral will be held from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, with a Mass beginning at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 16, 2010 in St. Mary’s Church, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours are 5:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, January 15, in the funeral home.
