EAST BROOKFIELD: Joseph A. Worster, Sr., 72, of East Main Street, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at UMASS Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
His wife Britta (Mongeon) Worster died in 2005.
He leaves a son James Worster of Braiser, NY, a daughter with whom he lived Jan Savage of East Brookfield, 2 brothers: William "Willie"Worster and Gilford "Rodney" Worster both of New York; 2 sisters: Bonnie Cyr of Arizona and Betty Cahagan of Maine; 4 grandchildren: Allen, Maryanne, Jachob and Austin and one great-grandson, Christopher. He was predeceased by a son Joseph A. Worster, Jr. who died in 2009, 3 brothers: Freeman "Teenie" Worster, Herbert "Hampton" Worster and Reginald "Jackie"Worster and 4 sisters: Nancy Hitchcock, Harriet "Haddy" Desmond, Susan Schlitte and Violet Worster.
Joseph was born in Allagash, ME the son of the late Herbert and Sarah (Hatford) Worster and lived in the area for many years. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Company after 35 years of service and enjoyed tinkering with projects, driving, fishing and most of all his family.
