Janet Stanton

WOODSTOCK VALLEY, CT: Janet (Rogers) Stanton, 67, of Woodstock Valley, CT. passed away on January 12,2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Janet leaves behind her two sons Jason Z. Stanton of Woodstock, CT, and Joshua Z. Stanton of Newport Center, VT; her daughter Amanda Powers of Woodstock Valley, CT; her brother Edwin Rogers from Scituate, RI, and her two grandsons Zackary and Christian Powers.

Janet was born in Providence, RI daughter to the late Edwin Rogers, and Elaine (Trahan) Rogers.

Janet graduated from Scituate Highschool in RI, class of 1973. Janet Worked for several years at a nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She later went on to become a homemaker to take care of her children.
