Jacqueline Champagne, 72 passed away on Monday, September 15.
Born March 28, 1942 in Southbridge to Marjorie (Lowell) and Wilfred Gendron
Graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1960 and attended Elizabeth Ollis Hairdressing School.
On November 28, 1963 she and her high school sweetheart Paul E Champagne, were married. They celebrated 50 years of marriage last November. Her husband passed March 21st of this year.
She leaves a son, Joseph Champagne, a daughter Jennifer St. Laurent of Southbridge, a sister Donna Boulanger of Pittsfield. In addition she leaves two grandchildren Andrea and Joseph Champagne, and two great-grandchildren Nevaeh and Hector Espola of Southbridge, and several cousins.
Jackie was pre-deceased by her husband Paul, mother Marjorie, father Wilfred, step-father Domenic G DiPaola and a step-brother Sal "Butch" DiPaola.
Jackie's work career included Mary's Beauty Salon in Southbridge, Gentex in Dudley, Spectran in Sturbridge and retired from Incom in Southbridge in the late 90's.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 9:00AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Charlton St. Southbridge on Wednesday, Sept. 24
A Memorial Celebration Mass will be held for both Paul and Jacqueline at St Mary's Church at a time to be announced.
