Helen Oosting

STURBRIDGE:  Helen E. (Dunphe) Oosting, 77, of Heritage Green, Fiskdale, died Monday, March 1, in her home after being stricken ill.  She leaves three daughters, Sally Ricci, of Brookfield, Mary Elizabeth Chamberland, of Charlton, and Roberta Labonte, of Wilbraham; a sister, Gladys Kelly, of Webster; four grandchildren, Lori Lawler, Christy Linds, Shane Ricci, and Kimberly Gaboury; 12 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Billy, Albert, Harry, and her sisters, Beverly Thibeault and Mini Philips-Brown.

Helen was born in Oxford, the daughter of the late Charles and Annabelle (Stevens) Dunphe, and lived in Oxford and Southbridge, and spent the last 30 years in Fiskdale.

She was a member of the Full Gospel Center in Southbridge.  

Over the years Helen enjoyed assisting people in their homes. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting dolls, walking and being with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held at NOON on Friday, March 5^th in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.  Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Maple St., Sturbridge.  Calling hours are 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, March 4^th in the funeral home.
