Hedwig Ushinski

CHARLTON: Hedwig (Siemaszko) Ushinski, 97 of Charlton, passed away on March 3, 2022, at the Overlook Masonic Home.  

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Ushinski, Sr. in 2001.

Hedwig leaves behind her daughter Elaine Kilroy of Silver Springs, MD; her son Joseph Ushinski, Jr. of Clayton, DE; two sisters Irene Dussault of Shrewsbury, MA and Helen Kerber of Shrewsbury, MA; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Hedwig was born on July 17,1924 daughter to the late Casimir Siemaszko, and Mary (Rudzinski) Siemaszko.

She was predeceased by her two brothers John Siemaszko, and Edward Siemaszko, and her daughter Nancy Marlborough.  

Hedwig worked as a waitress and helped her husband Joseph with the family business. She later worked parttime and was a homemaker for most of her life. Hedwig enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.  

A service for Hedwig will be held in the summer.
