North Grosvenordale, CT: George G. \"Paul\" Arsenault, 79, of Fabyan-Woodstock Rd., died, Friday, May 8th, at Day Kimball Hospice. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Grace (Angelo) Arsenault; three sons, George \"Pauly\" Arsenault, of North Grosvenordale, CT, and Plymouth, Ma, Peter Arsenault and Timothy Arsenault, both of Thompson, CT; one daughter, Susan Leason, of Plymouth; a brother, Roger Arsenault, of Woodstock, CT; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was born on May 30, 1929, in New York City, the son of the late George J. and Olivia (Arsenault) Arsenault. He graduated from Cole Trade High School as a cabinet maker. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War, and performing maintenance for armored truck vehicles. He worked for Harrington Memorial Hospital for many years, serving as the Maintenance Supervisor. He owned his own construction company doing custom homes and commercial buildings. He was a Scout Master and a member of the American Red Cross Ski Patrol. He enjoyed stock car racing, sailing, skiing, and riding motorcycles.
Calling hours are 6:00PM to 9:00PM, Wednesday, May 20th in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. His funeral service and burial will be private.
