STURBRIDGE: Fred Madel, 82, of River Road, died Wednesday, April 1, at Harrington Hospital. He leaves his wife of 47 years Roberta (Snell) Madel and a brother George Madel of King of Prussia, PA.
Fred was born in Irvington, New Jersey the son of Frederick and Anna (Boyer) Madel and lived in the Sturbridge area many years.
He retired as technician from New Jersey Bell Telephone after many years of service.
He enjoyed skiing, hiking and boating.
His funeral service and burial will be private.
