Esther McKinstry

SOUTHBRIDGE:  Esther (Butterworth) McKinstry, 92, formerly of Therese Ave. died Friday, April 15, in Radius Healthcare. Her husband George McKinstry died in 1970 and her son Jeffrey McKinstry died in 2001.

 She leaves her son Daniel McKinstry and his wife Sheron of Southbridge, 4 grandchildren Amy McKinstry, Alyssa McDonald and her husband Seth, Kristin Sanberg and her husband Brian, Cory McKinstry and his wife Lvelese, great grandchildren; Thomas, Kegan Gentry, Zoey, Saige Sanberg, Cameron, Mia McKinstry.

She was predeceased by her brother Herbert Butterworth and a sister Florence Dee Thompson.

 Mrs. McKinstry was the bookkeeper for Madore Lumber for many years.

She was a member of the Elm Street Congregational Church and was a member of the Women’s Fellowship. She was an avid member of the Southbridge Garden Club and was a Harrington Hospital volunteer.  Gardening was her passion.

 Her funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Monday, April 18, in the Elm Street Congregational Church, Elm St. Southbridge.
