Elizabeth \'Liz\" Murray

HOLLAND: Elizabeth Ann Murray "Liz," 72 of Holland, MA died suddenly on July 31, 2022, at UMASS/Memorial Healthcare in Worcester, MA. She was predeceased by her husband James Murray in 2002. She was born on April 4, 1950, in Tewksbury, MA daughter to the late E. Russell Parker and Violet B. (Amadon) Parker. Liz is survived by her sister, Beverly J. Parker of Newport News, VA. She leaves behind a family friend, George Carling, who helped her in so many ways. Liz worked at Harrington Hospital as a dietary aide for 42 years retiring in 2012. Liz enjoyed volunteering at Holland Community Center. She was an active member of the Sturbridge Federated Church and enjoyed organizing items for their rummage sales. She had a sweet spirit, didn’t know a stranger and enjoyed socializing, joking and laughing with other senior adults and all she met. A memorial service for her will be held at a later date.
