Southbridge – Eleanor M. Fuller (nee Pratt), 93, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1924 in Atkinson, ME, daughter of the late Ora V. and Hulda (Anderson) Pratt. Together with her beloved husband, Richard E. Fuller, who passed away in 1972, they made Southbridge home, and raised five children.
Eleanor was a devoted wife and mother as well as a Registered Nurse. She was last employed at Harrington Hospital, Southbridge retiring in 1990. Eleanor was a member of Eastford Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed attending services with her family at Sovereign Grace Chapel in Southbridge.
Eleanor will be deeply missed by sons, Mark and his wife Nancy of Woodstock, Richard, Jr. and his wife Marguerite of Englewood CO; Kevin and his former spouse Janis of Independence, KS; daughters, Paula Wright, and Alicia Mattila and her spouse Matti, of Thompson CT; six grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren. She is predeceased by her brothers, Earnest, Vance, Clarence, sister Dorothy and grandson Jason Wright.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 18 , from 5 to 7PM at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA. Burial alongside her husband Richard at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, ME will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Eleanor’s name to Sovereign Grace Chapel, 45 South St. Southbridge MA 01550.
