Dora Maramo

December 2, 1922 — January 26, 2022

SOUTHBRIDGE: Dora “Bonnie” Maramo, daughter of Charles and Martha Maramo, passed away peacefully in her home on January 26,2022.

She is predeceased by her brothers Henry, Sr., Fred and Albert.

She leaves behind many nephews and nieces and was blessed to have two nieces that took great care of her. Sharon Morissette and Brooke Basara kept her comfortable which allowed her to pass in the home her parents built in the early 1900's.

Dora retired as a Secretary from the American Optical.

She was an avid reader and Danielle Steele was her favorite author. She also loved to travel, socialize with friends and eat at popular restaurants.

She was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Church (now called St. Joseph’s) on Hamilton Street.

Kind, thoughtful and caring would describe the wonderful person she was. In addition, she leaves her beautiful calico cats. Because her cats were her world, she would love that if in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite animal rescue. …and to quote a line from her favorite TV show “thank you for being a friend."

Belanger Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA 01550 is directing arrangements.

An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
