Dilia Aponte

Dilia Aponte, 80, of Cisco St, died Saturday, Aug. 6th in Harrington Memorial Hospital after an illness.

She leaves her children Jose Antonio Ortiz, Casimiro Ortiz, Narsisa Ortiz, Carmen Ortiz, Maria D. Ortiz, Rafael Ortiz, Maria E. Ortiz, Edwin Ortiz, Jose L. Ortiz, Jose Francisco Ortiz all of Southbridge, Isabelle Ortiz of Camden, NJ, Ismael Ortiz, Alonso Ortiz both of Orocovis, PR, 47 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and a sister Pajoncia Aponte of Orocovis, PR.

 She was born in Puerto Rico, the daughter of Sinforiano Colon and Feliciana Aponte.

 Dilia was active in her church, loved to cook and was known for her beautiful flower garden. Most of all she enjoyed her loving family.

Her funeral will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, Aug. 10, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Aug. 9, 5:00PM to 9:00Pm at the funeral Home.
