SOUTHBRIDGE: Diane (Gottfried) Maldonado, 65, of 150 Main St, died Sunday, April 28, at Harrington Hospital.
She leaves 2 sons John Maldonado of Southbridge, Peter Maldonado of Leicester, a daughter Lisa Maldonado of Southbridge, 2 step daughters Daisy Maldonado of Manati, Puerto Rico, Helen Maldonado of Manati, Puerto Rico, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Harold and Lillian (Barber) Gottfried and lived in the area many years.
She worked at Charlton Woolen Mill for many years until it closed.
She attended St. Mary’s parish.
The family would like to Thank Fr. Peter for his words of comfort during the last hours of Diane’s life.
Diane enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
At her request her funeral services will be private.
Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements.
