Douglas: Delphis " Del" J. Thibodeau, 90, of Franklin St. died April 1, at, Almace Medical Center in Burlington, NC. He leaves his wife Ora (Proulx) Thibodeau, a son Richard D. Thibodeau of Woonsocket, RI, a daughter Debra A. O' Connell of Gibsonville, NC., a sisters Jo-Ann Latendress of Douglas, three grandchildren two great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter Linda Mclean in 2003, two grandsons Richard Mclean Jr. in 1973, Joshua O' Connell in 2004 and three granddaughters Angela Mclean in 1977, Holly and Kim O' Connell in 1995, brothers Larry, Armand, Rinaldo, George, sisters Florence,and Delia. He was a member of St. St. Denis Parish. He served with the Military Police during WWII. He retired from General Electric in 1977. His funeral will be held at NINE AM FRIDAY, April 8, from the Buma Funeral Home 101 No. Main St. Uxbridge followed with a Mass at TEN am in St. Denis Church, Manchaug Rd. Douglas. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are SIX to NINE PM Thursday April 7th in the funeral home.
